That's true. Why worry about what you should do at a -10 count if you are going to Wong out long before that?
In general, negative indices do not add much to your EV (with the exception of a few of the Ill-18), but they can reduce your variance quite a bit if used properly. That can mean less variance, a lower ROR, and smaller bankroll requirements. It may even allow you to start using a higher unit size which will increase your EV greatly.
In general, however, there is only one negative index that you need to know: Wong Out!
