My first of many...hopefully

So, I am new to Ap but felt i was ready to start playing for real. I hit up my buddy grabbed my 100 dollars and we were off. And i walked into the store that i new had a pretty decent DD game. Walkd up to it and back counted for a while the RC got to about 10 with about a deck played (this game has ery good pen) So i asked if anyone minded if i sat in. They said no and for some reason the dealer didnt bring me in ( i know they have mid show entry) Then the pit boss walks up to me and asks how much i want in for "100" he immedietly "asks any green action?" I replied nervously "uum n?" pretending i didnt know exactly what he meant.

I was a little nervous at that point. But whatever have to be like a rock. Then i here that same very young PB say to the dealer next table over "So I dont know man, i think she likes me but she like wants to be just friends or something." i imedietly loose all fear.

After a little while of winning a naive middle age man called me out on beginers luck. I didnt say anything just a smile and a sleight laugh. Ramping my bets a little bit i got to my first top bet. First card comes out King. My hearts pumpin. Count doesnt change much over anyone elses cards, my next card Ace. Needles to say one of the my heart was thumping.:grin::grin:

I color in and the dealer yells out."The rookie wants to color up!" I thought that was the best part of the entire thing. Except for maybe when at a dif table that i waswatching my friend play i told him to spit 10's jokingly and the two next cards were a 10 and A.

My first experience was a great one

Remember how you did this "rookie" act. It will serve you well over the years. Something tells me you're going to be a natural at this.

From your description I know exactly which casino you're talking about. You would be well advised to not kill the golden goose. They are extremely suspicious about backcounters at this store, and their 2 deck game can be handily beaten with a play-all approach. The PC's have very good memories so you cannot pull off the "rookie" act for long.

The main problem with backcounting in this store is they have a rule that if you watch 2 hands or more you must wait until the shuffle to play.

If you're lucky they don't always enforce this... try to blend in with the background.
