Default What a wonderful day.

It's 80 degrees, the sun is shining and I'm about to take the pup up to the dog park.
This is the sort of day where only good things can happen.
Anything nice happen to you today?

Wow Shad! Sounds like you got the makings of a perfect day going up there. The only thing missing so far is a fantastic +TC and getting laid, but there's still plenty of time left.

Some days make you feel, "Life is good!" Your whole being seems to resonate with some natural order of things.

But with me a little voice warns me that sometimes it's only the calm before the storm, a prelude to hard times ahead, and so I keep that in the back of my mind while I attempt to scrap the last sweet taste out of that near perfect ice-cream-carton day.

But that is me, always a little paranoid Aslan, but overall pretty optimistic in spite of the world we live in.

Have a great day, everyone!

Sometimes that light at the end of the tunnel is an on-coming train.

I'd be paranoid too if I lived 30 minutes from D.C.

He's calm. He shoots burglars throo his roof and strings up corrupt cops. I know his history! He shoots asses in his backyard as well, have-a-nice-day or not...

Yeah that, but it can also imply "down wind" from any malodorous emanation.

I no longer shoot burglars through my roof since I accidentally shot my brother who had climbed up on the roof to adjust the TV antenna. Luckily it was a flesh wound. I don't know what I'd do for TV reception otherwise. As for corrupt cops, there isn't enough rope in Texas, but you have to put it in perspective... (I'm working on that.) As for asses in my backyard, not a problem since I installed my eight-foot fence. Occasionally, the constant braying from the other side wakes me up at night, but I am usually a sound sleeper and ear plugs do the trick.
