So is it safe to assume that Harrah's is the sworn enemy? :p

I read that article Sagefr0g, and I've been keeping up on the casino openings in Ohio and, being a Clevelander, I hear things around town about how Mr.Gilbert (owner of the Cavs) may give Harrah's only a small stake but nothing's for sure yet. I'm with you though, hopefully he'll go with another company!

The casino in Cincy is delayed another year (2013 opening) due to tax battles with the state. Columbus casino is still hung up on water and waste water. The columbus casion wants to use well water and pump the waste water deep into the ground instead of using municipal utilities.

So hurry up and wait! :whip:

O high O

Does anyone really think that Ohio can do anything the right way? The greedy casinos are matched only by greedy politicians. I figuired they would f-up this whole thing from the start. The word stupid comes to mind when you add up casino and Ohio. I not going to hold my breath on decisions that this con man of a governor makes much less about the coming casino issue.:vomit:

Sheer brilliance!

Harrah's is carrying a lot of debt in a slack gaming market so they want to borrow some more to build another casino in Ohio where things are just as tough economically as anywhere else? BRILLIANT IDEA!!! Because it's HARRAH'S! This means that they can put lots of their 6:5 blackjack games in place, lots of carnival games and toss in a few slots that will make those old retirees walk away shaking their heads much faster than they would in any other casino and never want to come back... this sounds like a winner! hahahahaaaa

Harrah's casinos have the crummiest blackjack games anywhere, not even playable unless you are a mental patient, so I hope someone else puts a few other casinos in that are actually worth playing at, Ohio.

Thankfully they will only operate two of the four! Penn National has the others.

Penn National is only a small step up from Harrah's in my book. I'd rather Boyd or MGM any day.
