As a veteran of the tables Iv done a lot of strange things for cover.

I am pro at acting like I'm bombed
I great at acting like a stupid kid
Overall I'm great at acting

You never really know what it does for you though if anything, maybe a Pit critter is looking at you but you don't know what they are thinking.

This time was different......

After observing three shoes but only playing about ten hands at 100+ x2. (Not playing any cover at all cause I'm wayyyyyyy out of town never coming back.

I had been talking to the pit boss periodically about stuff she and I could relate to.

I was now up over 1k when she walked upto the table with her arms crossed, as always when this happens I engage in conversation so I asked her a direct question about what we were talking about where she , in a low quick mumbling voice answered me and said stop....

"are you counting?"......"Why do you play only a few hands each shoe"

I immediately take on my persona of stupid wigger and ramble about how if I play too many hands I will lose too fast so I only play......

She cuts me off....looks me right in the eye and says....

"Your counting"

I look at her.... "Huh? and she says again.. In a stern voice
"Your counting arnt you?
...Pause....
I reply. "What do you mean"

Awkward silence.....

I reply listen I just play a few hands here and there Ill play now. , I get all excited and drop two 35-45 dollar. At a 15 min table. Use my trademanked. "lets do it!" and continue ramble about how I'm not feeling this hand and she walked away.

I continue to play for back count for 4 hours on her shift and continued to. Engage her in freindly conversation.

A few hours in security called the pit,....they were yelling at the pit because two people had their phone on the table I was at... Meaning they were watching it...since it was only one of two tables open I n the early am. And I was likely the biggest action in the casino.....

I continued to play untill noon for several hours...

I suppose they are waiting for you to start winning--then, they will back you off! j/k :joker::whip:

Or maybe the eye-in-the-sky staff are so novice, they can't keep up with the count.

Or maybe you are betting at the "wrong" times and therefore not considered a threat. Are you sure you are counting accurately? j/k :joker::whip:

Whatever you're doing, you are certainly giving them plenty of time to get their act together and boot you properly. Keep up the good work.

Doesn't matter if you are never coming back. Play until they pry you off your seat.
If you plan not to return to each and every casino you play in, you will have a short-lived career in the US, since you will quickly run out of beatable games as your full frontal, continuous assault leads to barring after barring. It will also become quite expensive as you must travel farther and farther distances to play games where you have not yet been banned. Good luck!

PS--At best, you will have to put a good length of time between playing casinos again where you are barred. But I suspect with the full frontal style employed, memories with persist much longer in the minds of casino staff, making you easier to spot than a black roach on a snow white wall.

But let's say you are in a casino hundreds of miles away and don't plan on returning there for at least a year. Then it won't matter if you get backed off there, since you don't plan to return. Play with no cover and spread from table min to table max if you want. You're not going back to that place and they don't know who you are.

I always cover leading up to that long positive count. One or two hands don't interest me much and I don't want to betray the fact that I am a counter by betting the moon when I hit a plus count but can also see the cut card is a few cards away.

When the potentially long plus count comes, however, I don't mind letting it all hang out, because I plan to leave right afterward. They won't know what hit them, and I will be long gone. Not that I am hurting any casino with green chip play, but it is meaningful to me. If it were black or purple chip play, I would thing twice about returning too soon thereafter.

This is why I don't wong out. I guess it depends on how many casinos you can get to, but then again its easy when games are offering 100:1 spreads from $5 to $500.

If your br can stand it, why not! Sounds good to me. I remember when I first started out and didn't know squat about bj that I worried they would not let me double down when I was already at or near the game's max bet. That was not that long ago.

I don't see anything wrong with burning out a game that you don't care about that you'll never travel to, so long as you're not a pro, and you're not playing rated. I wouldn't want to end up in Griffin over some **** I pulled at a podunk casino.

For me, I just don't play enough that it would matter if I burned out a game 500 miles from me. On the other hand, if I was trying to make a living at this, or got burned out at one of my usual haunts, things could be different.
