I haven't been to Four Winds yet, so I don't know how the game is there yet. I have been told that its spotty at best. As for FK, this is a recent change. In Sept, they were all 6D H17+DAS+RSA on the main floor with 6D S17+DAS+RSA in the high limit area. I was there last weekend and immediately noticed the discard trays got taller (6 to 8 decks), then I observed several dealers opening up new tables and had 8 decks spread out on the table. I had a friend ask the dealer during a shuffle how many decks they were using to confirm it was 8. He said they use 8 now. As such, with there shitty pen, stay away from this game.

Well then what is that director of gaming operations punk going to do if he now no longer has any "advantage players" to give the boot too?
"You're no longer welcome to play our games because they suck!"
I guess he'll start backing off little old ladies now.

Yeah, the management there isn't too sharp. Somehow I doubt that swapping 6 decks for 8 deck will make there game that much more profitable for them. They certainly didn't make there game that much worse, it already was bad to begin with.

Confirmed that all blackjack (even hi-limit) are 8deck with about 2.5 decks cutoff and all ASM.
There is one DD game which is, well pm me for details if you want ($25 min) but ridiculously they have one guy hired whose entire job it seems is to scowl at people who walk by it. Also I found one or two lucky dealers. But besides that this place is pretty lame.
Even the CARNIVAL games have the lowest odds possible.
The buffet is really nice for the MI area and the parking is easy/convienent, and the place is MASSIVE.

8 deck in Hi-limit,WTF!
They will get their ass kicked by the other close by casinos. They really are going to pay off the new hotel by ripping the customer,,,heard even the slots are tighter. The thang is their customers are not dumb as hell as in some other areas that have casinos.
Must of been orders from the tribe elders to "get that money for that hotel"!
Who needs em..............

I wonder how many times those petite little vixen dealers have dumped the cards all over the table and floor while trying to load 8 decks into the shoe. Whoops! I'll bet they never even thought about that aspect of it.

I got a dealer that splits the shoe to load it. The dealer usually exposes the midshoe bottom card. I count the card as discarded until it approaches in the shoe. Any little edge you can get.

I was there about 2 weeks ago and Hi limit was still 6D. The cut varied with dealer but was around 1.5. The limits were 25-500, 50-1000, 100-2000. My advised, don't play there shoes. You can do better then that

I was there MORE recent than that but it IS possible there are some 6deck in there, there were no tables going (rest of casino was packed though) and I just assumed it was 8deck because I asked the dealer if it was the same as the main floor and he said, "yes" obviously I wanted to be inconspicuous so I just asked, "Oh like all the rules are the same and the cards derr" and he was like "Yes" and I started getting glared at by the pit so I just left.
Also I'm 100% not surprised about the incident CP said about the AP getting backed off but the other parts ARE surprising AND upsetting but like I said there was a guy there who it seems his only job was to stare at that DD and I got scowled at for halfheartedly glancing at it while pretending to watch the football game. I actually thought I saw an AP at one point since he varied his bets wildly which sort of correlated at first but then he didn't dbl 11 into a 5.
