Greetings all

ZG,

Thanks for the invitation to join you sent to me. As you may know, Ken Smith bought cardcounter.com, and I am overjoyed that he has put together such a great site here. I hope cc.com serves him well.

As you pointed out by posting the press release above, my focus now is no longer advantage gaming. Instead, I am working mainly as a consultant to game developers, helping them with the mathematics, strategy, and design of their games. This has been a tremendously successful switch so far, and I look forward to more fun in the future in this new business.

I hope to contribute here, but I am going to stay out of the way of discussions about advantage gaming and cardcounting. There are plenty of experts here.

Now, where is the Zen Zone?

Glad you asked - "A rose by any other name..." http://www.blackjackinfo.com/bb/forumdisplay.php?f=28

BTW I was remembering the first time I saw a hybrid game or sidebet - it was at Aladdin circa '78 and it was created by one-time card-counter Ed Fischman who started the first BJ tournies that same year.

Ed also later launched "Players Club Int'l" featuring those Telly Savalas ads.

The Fischman BJ sidebet was a quasi tournament among the players as they fought a 20-hand 1 table tourny, or thats the best I can remember of it.

What is the most successful new tablegame of the past decade? Is it Caribbean Stud? zg

Confused

Elliot why are you staying out of the way of any discussions about card counting and advantage play for. Please don't tell us you have gone over to the other side :whip:

After all isn't that what your book is about.

Yaa, why? Even if you do now consult for the "dark side" we can still mutually benefit by discussion! Don't clam up on us now just because some other website community was lacking in couth. zg
