Bad losing streak
Hi I just signed up to this forum, hope someone can help me. I have been playing at my local casino in canada using Hi/low strategy with index numbers of +/-3. I have lost about 8 out of 10 sessions and finding that the deck rarely gets into a + true count. Its a goveremnt run casino, just wondering if I'm being cheated or maybe they are removing some 5's or is this a normal streak. I have played in Vegas and Dominican with much better success.

Removing 5's would actually benefit the player.

Welcome to the forum T007.First off do you know BS and can play it without effort? What kind of game is it single deck, 6 deck ,das, ES etc?It is quite possible to lose that many times if not more of course you could win that many times in a row also. Keep at it and try to find the best game you can. LOL

I live in Canada and would be willing to bet my house on the fact that they're not cheating you.

If you play long enough everyone will experience these kinds of losing streaks. What's the penetration like at the casino you are playing at? Because it sounds to me like penetration in the 60% range. Can you name which casino it is?

Bad losing streak
Thanks for your response guys.
The game I'm playing is a 6 deck game cut off to about 1.25 to 1.5 decks. I know BS without effort but use HI/Low from +3 to -3.

It sounds like a pretty standard game with decent pen. Can you surrender? Do you know what your EV and SD are? If not, what is your bet ramp and how often do you Wong in/out?
It sounds like you've just had a few bad sessions, but without the proper bet spread you might not have much of an edge to begin with in a 6D game. The shoe games are very tough to beat without aggressive backcounting so losing sessions will happen almost 50% of the time.

if you mean a true count of -3 then it sounds as if your sitting through to many disadvantgeous shoes. try wonging out, taking a bathroom break or sitting out some hands if two decks have been dealt out and the tc is zero or less.

Wonging in/out
How sensitive are most casinos to wonging in and out, and how do I know if they are getting a little excited before I get a tap on the shoulder? I have never experianced any heat Does this mean I'm not agressive enough?
thanks in advance guys...
