I am basicaly a BS player, but soetimes If I see 10-15 cards on the table and 75% of them are low cards I ramp up my bet the next hand. Sometimes this works well for me. Last night I was in this situation and was dealt 7,7 against dealer's 7. I split, fist first card out is a 3 for 10, and now I DD, One card o come and it is a 6, that sucked but it was time to do work on the second 7 and a 3 comes out again, so I DD again and BAM, another 6!! Dealer had 17. That is how my night went.

Don't feel too bad, that can happen even in a hugely positive count when you figure there's gotta be a face or an ace ready to pop. Make it max bets and then it's really disappointing.

Get 'em next time.

When you get bucked off a horse, you're supposed to get right back on that horse. If the horse bucks you off again, get back on him again. If you're the kind of person who can fall off that horse 20 or 30 times in a row, and STILL have the fortitude to remount him; then you have what it takes to be a CARD COUNTER!
