is $10 and you put out $5 for insurance. Say you lose the bet. My question is you haven't lost 50% but rather 33%? Couldn't you say that your total wager was $15 and you put out $5 of that?

What say you?

If you bet $10 on the Packers and then you decided to bet $5 on the Jets; you made exactly TWO separate bets - and you lost 100% of your $5 wager.

But can't you say that the equivalent is a $15 bet and you are betting $5 of that for insurance? That's what I am trying to get at.
