OK, OK – I’ll explain. Casino Vérité Blackjack V5.5, just released, has an experimental feature. There is now an optional dashboard that can be displayed on either or both sides of the playing table. The user can customize the dashboard by adding widgets. One of these widgets is called the Comm Panel. The Comm Panel tells you when new threads have been created on participating forums or blogs with the title and first several words. Clicking on a post in CV will launch a browser and open the thread in the forum on which it was posted. To start, the BlackjackInfo forum and CV forum and blog are included. But, any forum or blog that wishes can make use of the feature without modification of CV.

Now, instead of reinventing the wheel and building a new server infrastructure, I decided to use the Twitter infrastructure. Hey, it’s already there and free. So, to make use of the feature, a forum/blog needs to tweet its threads. CVBJ then picks them up. Hence the BJInfo and CV twitter accounts. Any forum can participate without any intervention on my part. I don’t even need to know about it.

Im just using the free infrastructure to benefit BJ enthusiasts. Frankly, I think Twitter is a joke and I'm sick of hearing about it, facebook, myspace, ladygaga, charlie sheen and all the rest of this crap. We're in two wars, and some nuts want us to get into a third -- and twiiter is important?.

I'm an advantage player. An AP uses what he/she can for advantage. And, ignores the rest. That's what I'm doing.
