Rude dealer comments

Wasn't the greatest weekend I've had in a while. Had multiple losing sessions on multiple DD tables. Didn't matter what casino either. Just some stubborn negative variance.

Anyway, during my last session, with a TC of +6 and slightly less than 1 deck left in play, I had my max bet out on two spots. With what ended up as the last hand of the game, I had two 20's - dealer had 9 facing. Dealer turned a 3, and then pulled 9 for a 21.

As I colored up my remaining chips, dealer says "You counters. I don't understand why you play so aggressive. You never ultimately win. We always win - when are you going to learn that?" Dealer didn't look more than 30, and gave me this grin that, IMO, not even a mother could love. :flame:

I was very aggravated by his show of arrogance. I held myself back from retaliating. I'll be back... :whip::whip::whip:

What other rude/stupid comments have dealers made to you?

Ever hear of a "poker face ?"

You will do well to NEVER reply or react to morons and sadists.
To do so, in this case, is to simply permit the bastard his little victory
over you, by vigorously yanking your chain and getting a rise out of you.
Whatever you hear, always remember to "consider the source."

Id look at is as a +EV statement. You will certainly never tip that dealer again, and if they share tips you could make a good argument for never tipping at that place. Win rate increase!

X2-------also, be sure to tell the other dealers why you aren't tipping.

That is a situation where I would not rule out dealer cheating. A dealer stupid and arrogant enough to say something like that is stupid and arrogant enough to learn cheat moves and actually use them to defeat counters. You are dealing with a person who sounds like he might have a little bit of abnormal psychology there, and given what and where you are playing it is probably an Indian store where you have abridged rights. That's a dangerous combination.

Not saying you should accept defeat or be cowed by this dealer's comments, but I would be careful about returning to this store at all. :flame:

Not me, but I've been accused of being "assertive" before.

HMmMm..I didn't notice anything besides his arrogant demeanor. I admit, I'm not the best when it comes to calling out dealers on possible cheat moves. However, I've generally had great experiences with other dealers at this non-Indian store.

Perhaps try a different shift or simply a different dealer? Some of these games have great penetration.
