Has the shuffles changed in NY at alot of stores or is it just a chosen few. I went to a local joint the other day and to my surprise they have an long drawn out shuffle that takes forever to complete. I think these places are really misdirected in their attempts to thwart threats that aren't there. Even my wife who is not a player commented that they are just hurting themselves by loss of play time. How come it's apparent to a non player but not to store exces?

Casino execs have to justify their existence. "Look busy." Whoever made the decision to complicate the shuffle surely did so with great fanfare just to promote himself. Same thing happens in a lot of companies, executives creating meaningless reports and procedures to weigh the productive employees down just so they will have something to talk about at the next meeting. I'm not exaggerating.

Have you found the fine DD games at Turning Stone yet?

  • DD
  • S17
  • NDAS
  • Pen' 67% (by notch)
  • Face Up
  • Play 1 or 2 spots
  • Several tables.
  • $10 to $100
  • $25 to $500

Heat is easy to draw.
Bet Red or use Hit & Run style.

Have you seen the Borgata's shuffle recently?!! Longest shuffle in AC hands down.
I dont think the shuffle at Borg is to bad. It's not worse than a hand shuffle at any harrahs/caesars property hands down (no pun intended).

You literally just made corporate America make sense for me.

If these jerks are trying to thwart shuffle trackers it's futile.
Oh, it's ridiculous. I'd bet there's maybe 10 people in the country with the bankroll and skills to be a serious threat to even a relatively simple one pass shuffle.

Oh, so some counter came in and tracked your cutoff and got an extra .5%? Oh damn!

The worst (slowest) shuffle that I have ever seen:

Trump Plaza in A.C.
I believe that. Efficiency, among other things, comes from employees who enjoy their occupations. I have never seen so many dealers frowning in one place before.

Question for Flash.

Are you the Flash that played the very first hand of single deck at Turning Stone many, many years ago?
If so, i remember having several discussions about Turning Stone with you on Wongs site circa 1995.

Turning Stone

Its good to see that you're still doing battle with the casinos. I've been away from the game for a long time now, but still play about once or twice a year.

I played in Oct at Turning Stone on their $25 double deck game. They were letting me double after split the first time I played so I assumed that was the rule. They were cutting off 1 deck so it wasnt a good game.

I may try the game again since you say they are dealing 67%.

Do you have to double your bet to play 2 spots?

Thanks for the info.
