If you might be able to help me out with a room at the B that night that would be most appreciated. For some reason, they're not giving me it comped like they usually do on weekdays and I'd like to play there before they're totally H17. Please respond via pm. TIA.

Thanks for the offer but I'm postponing my trip as they're calling for a 90% chance of rain now which makes scouting the games on the boardwalk quite a nuisance.

Trip Report

I used a new betting method.. I am testing.. either variance was highly on my side, or it may have a little to it..

I played a the Borgata $50 tables and $25 .. dealers were friendly with the pen. I also played at Harrahs - which seemed eerily empty.

Everyone .. and I mean everyone else who went with me .. and there were 10+ lost money except me..

Bankroll was 5G however .. i never found the need to use on average more than 400 per session.. I doubled my br

btw, everyone.. thank you for mentioning the Borg.. they were fabulous

show them any harrahs diamond card or.. similar card.. and they will give you black label immediately, + a little in food comps

You are talking about a "betting method" — without describing it !
No worries. I am sure that it is some silly "Voodoo" progression.
What happens to you during one trip means NOTHING at all.
The Borgta clearly has the sharpest surveillance team in the East.
As I am fond of saying . . . "Forewarned is Forearmed !"

Betting

I did notice they did watch me my spread was between 50 and 400 and clearly I could have lost it all on several points.
I couldn't card count if you paid me a million dollars.. <no really>

I think your betting methodology is as important as playing basic strategy fundamentally flawless.. in order to have the best of both worlds.

I want to explore it a bit more before I figure I let it out; call me glutton for punishment but it does go on one belief that you typically won't lose more than 11 hands in a row. I do know based on play that this is highly likely at any given point, and can occur several times.. <have the t-shirt>

Clearly .. I lost the last 2 times when using the betting method.. and then won the previous two times.. but I do blame part of that *at the sub ops at the table; and the Indian casino conveniently kept changing out dealers.. and the table was never consistent..
My litmus test is 10 sessions to start with .. I'll celebrate a little then
I did also test it on a 10$ continuous shuffler with a full table of sub ops and it faired reasonable well netting a $300 roi

Interesting enough.. I did take a few hundred dollars and play heads up.. and tried to time throwing in extra hands *this is new to me* .. as I have lost my arse on previous trips when others have done it at the table.
