I travel to AC by BUS and get those $25 slot bonus. Usually go for a 777 machine 25c bet , play all lines and lose them in a few seconds. high limit slot seem to have lesser HE than a low limit one. what you think of it? Bet all lines on a $5 machine?

If it's just a straight slot play that you have to play through once, it won't matter too much where you play it. You can play it in a VP machine with a 99.54% return and have an EV of $24.89. If you put it in a slot with 95% return your EV is $23.75. The difference between the best and the worst is $1.14. I'd play it in a $1 VP machine, 5 pulls, so unless I get a royal flush there won't be any tax paperwork.

Thanks, Aslan suggested the same on another thread. I will try this out here after. for some reason I have been thinking it could be used only for slot machines.

Believe it or not, after playing VP now for oh a year or two years using the slot dollars they give me, I'm still up by a fairly significant amount statistically speaking. Most of the action though has been done at the .50 level as it wasn't until recently that the majority of machines with 99.5% payouts or better went to $1 or worse payouts. In that time, I've gotten one Royal, one straight flush and average one 4 of a kind for every two trips or so. My advice to you is to get off at the Hilton where they will give you $30 instead of $25 and are offering a free buffet promo right now or at least they were last week.

They also have some nice Triple Bonus machines for $1 and 99.57% return. Very playable game and it's worth it to give it some action and get the mailers.

Are there no virtual blackjack machines that would allow you to use the comp dollars in them? I know this varies from casino to casino though.

There are, but they pay 1:1 on naturals. They're not Shufflemaster machines or anything like that, they're usually an option on a multi-game VP machine.

AC history: Trump Plaza used to have a multi-game machine and one of the games was All-American VP paying out 100.7%. It was only a quarter but a great game for someone who wants to earn a little EV or run up comps. Another game on the machine was Keno, returning the usual 75-80% of a Keno game.

As you might imagine those machines were always full. With people playing the 100.7% video poker? Of course not, they were all playing Keno! That demonstrated to me just how little influence advantage and AP have over that gaming environment down there.

Sadly, I did. They might be giving it free because well it is just about the worst buffet in AC.

The Rivers doesn't allow comp points to be played on their Shufflemaster but a certain other PA joint does...while they no longer factor in promotional multipliers, the comps themselves will still work. (This often leads me to wonder if one should surrender a few more hands than usual given you would be turning comp money into real money - albeit half - through doing so.)

No just play BS. You'll be turning comp dollars into double real dollars when you win those hands. I suppose if you really, really needed the money you would change your strategy a bit, but we're only talking about mailers and bus promotions here, right?
