Default Single Deck

Anyone know of any publications that list which Vegas casinos on the strip still have single deck? and What hours?
Or is there any web site info can be found?
Thanks

The publication is CBJN, which can be bought at bj21.com

Single deck is all over the strip, nearly every casino but it pays 6/5 for blackjack, so it is a bad game.
There are a few single deck games paying 3/2 downtown and none on the strip or at locals casinos that I know of, although there used to be a very small locals casino with one table which still may be out there.

You could also try a subscription to Trackjack.com. It will list the current conditions at any casino. You can also search their database for certain games or rules (SD, or DAS, or Late Surrender).

Or you can get somewhat less reliable info for free:

That was Barcelona, its GONE. The only playable 1D is El Cortez and Vegas Club and both feature 2D games that are better. zg

You don't need to pay for this info. There are just 4-Binions, El Cortez, Western and Four Queens. All within walking distance. El Cortez has most tables.

According to the tables in Wizard of Odds, the SD game at El Cortez has a lower house edge than the DD game. What factors make the DD game better?
Are they only for counters or am I better off playing DD than SD at El Cortez?

Only for counters. For non-counters stick to SD at El Cortez, Binions, Western or 4 Queens.

Circus Circus primarly plays single deck everyday all day, although it does pay 6/5 on BJ's.

The Las Vegas Club also has one table of 3:2 single deck, but the mins are normally $25.
