Any good games in the St. Louis area? Single deck or shoe games? My first time there; I'll be there next wed and thu.

Thanks!
No single deck in St. Louis. All shoe games are 6 deck, DAT, RSA, DAS, H17, NLS. Most are dealer dependent for Penetration. Penetration runs from pretty good to terrible.

double deck too

There are also some double deck games on the Missouri side of the river. But the rules-like those at Lumiere-are not usually favorable to the player.

St. Louis $5 games:
River City 1 or 2 tables early in the day. Pen dealer dependent. Some pretty good. (1 deck cut off)
Harrah's 1 or 2 tables. Pen dealer dependent, sometimes good, but mostly bad.
Ameristar - Maybe 1 table early in the day. Good pen.
Argosy - 1 or 2 tables early in the day. Pen mediocre to bad.
Casino Queen - Several tables, but terrible pen.

These are all 6 deck, H17, DAS, DAT, RSA, NLS

Update on $5 St. Louis games

Went to Ameristar recently on a weekday morning. No more $5 games. Only 3 $10 games available, and 2 of them were CSM. Ugh!

Welcome to the midwest...

No one can comp drinks: Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, etc.
But you can get cheap drinks in HL rooms! I think I paid $1.25 for a Vodka Redbull at FK

Of course comparing this to unlimited Patron shots at Bellagio isn't as cool...

Just have to adjust which midwest state you're playing in

There are a few gems that comp drinks, among other things, for green-chip play. I've even had it happen in my days as a red-chipper on busy nights.
