The Predator system would suit you swell but you still need to count.

Hey Now!
I'd love some more info about this system also..
I have no trouble using KO in Vegas playing DD, but the shoe games in AC throw me off, and I end up flat betting using BS....
thanks!

Why can't you count cards?

You can start from using Hi Opt I. The initial running count is zero. Each time you see a ten, you subtract 1 from the running count. Each time you see a 3,4,5 or 6, you add 1 to the running count

true count = running count / remaining deck.

For starters, you don't use index play, you just play perfect Basic Strategy. That will cut your winning by half. But you have to bet according to the true count:

TC Bet Size
0/neg 1
+1 4
+2 8
+3 12
+4 16
+5 20

Rivers use 8 deck, your ideal spread is 20 to 1.

And counting is much easier than you think.

20 to 1 with a $100 buy in? I assume he means that is his trip bankroll. That's not going to work.

Thanks so much for your info.....I have a shoe that holds 6/8 decks with chips and a black jack lay out..need to practice..next step in the quest is to count..

I think $5 table is for one night only. It is the opening night of iTable. Recently when I visited the Rivers, the iTable has $10 minimal.

The Rivers has two $5 ASM tables when they open the tables at 1PM or 2PM near the Wheeling Bar. But they change to $10 around 5 PM (4 PM if it is a crowded weekend). They change again to $15 around 8 PM. Note that the Rivers only open all three BJ sections on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They open only the main section on weekdays. On weekdays evening, tables with ASM have $25 minimal. CSM tables open at $10 then $15 when crowds come in. (Note: I have never been to the Rivers on weekdays morning and afternoon, need someone to confirm the minimal of ASM tables at the earlier time periods.) Also, iTable only opens on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

If you don't spread, you can't make money in the long run.

I have an alternative for people who is short on the bank roll (shoe game only):

TC bet size
neg 1 (play only every other hand)
0 1
+1 4
+2 8
+3 10
+4 10
+5 10

Play every other hand when True Count is negative will lower your spread requirement to 10:1.
