This edition of Coast to Coast takes us to the Windy City – Chicago. In this instance though, Chicago is really just a reference point as there aren’t actually any casinos in the city of Chicago. And in fact, there aren’t any casinos on dry ground. Riverboat casinos rule the area due to local laws, which for us just means a bit of driving between destinations. But oh, so worth the effort!

Check out this MAP to help take in the lay of the land:

Illinois extracts a hefty tax on its casinos — which is why they are unable to offer good playing conditions.

That has been a boon to the casinos in nearby states, e.g. Indiana

But getting stabbed has nothing to do with the casinos, it's just a result of being in the proximity of Gary and East Chicago. It's also advisable to bring a clothespin for each member of your party when traveling through the area. ;)

How does a clothespin help you?
