You were once the class of AC. In the last year or two, you've gone from all 6 decks and S17 to now having mostly 8 deck games and H17 on 1/3-1/2 of the available tables. Not only that, you have added all of these ludicrous side bets that have slowed the game down to a crawl. To add insult to injury, you've made all of the remaining 6 deck games NMSE. You stupidly now think you're going to make more money by cutting the penetration on your games.

Your craps tables are so incredibly bouncy that dice go flying everywhere. Your buffet is also not quite as good as it once was. Greed will be your downfall.

Sams Town Boyd Ownership - You can take the boys out of the country,
but you can't take the country out of the boys. zg

Ps - Who actually owns Borgata now? Still Boyd??

I think we all saw this coming when MGM was forced out. Obviously they were the class of that partnership.

With the decline in condition at the B, and the recent hit suffered by Trop, resulting in the firing of their CEO, which will most likely result in the end of their recently improved games, AC seems to have less than ever to offer AP's. Although Pa has some very playable games, even good compared to AC, they are so spread out, and my style of play doesn't work well there. I am glad I headed west when I did. :)

When is Revel supposed to open?
The governor says the casino will open in June 2012.

Yeah had a soft spot for Borgata, it used to be a class act. Remember when I went there for a bachelor party, when most of my friends were young and broke. We just walked in there for the very first time, asked for an upgrade to a suite, and they just gave it to us. Go almost anywhere else and do this, they'll treat you like some insect alien that just landed on earth from another planet.

No coincidence there's new mgmt, switch to H17, others reporting having more trouble getting comped rooms, etc., and guess what, numbers are looking bad.

I am awed by their new genius management!

Still Boyd as far as I know. MGM was the best thing that ever happened to Boyd. Now that the gaming commission is kaput, I wonder if MGM can return? I have a sneaking suspicion that they are already back behind the scenes in the coming Revel, but that is just a hunch. MGM kicked out of AC for doing business with Chinese mob. Suddenly China builds the Revel, tallest building in AC and on the ocean no less. MGM--China--hello?

I had heard earlier, maybe September of this year, but I guess the governor makes it official.
