Was hoping the license went to another applicant. Would have been nice to have another chicken to pluck less than 30 minutes from me, would not have to visit AC as much
I was really hoping it would go to Mason Dixon near Gettysburg. Would have given HW in CT, WV some competition. Now it looks like the HW in Grantville will remain the closest PA casino to me (~2.5 hours away).

Been to Nemacolin once. It's in the middle of nowhere, built by the 84 Lumber guy. Had fun with an off-road driving course there, driving a Hummer through an obstacle course in rain-soaked woods. Otherwise, a blah place.

It is not in the middle of nowhere. I am familiar with the area because I come to Ohiopyle for white water rafting two or three times every summer. I think everyone should come to raft on day then play Blackjack on night. It is a fun sports and Ohiopyle is a beautiful place.

Feel free to think that if you wish. I do agree it's a pretty area, and if there, a visit to Fallingwater (home built by Frank Lloyd Wright) is worthwhile, too. However, 2 hours east of Pittsburgh and 4 hours west of Phila is the middle of nowhere, in my opinion.

I too wish Gettysburg would have gotten the license but there was no chance of that happening, not when it's considered one of the most important monuments in our country.

I can usually cook a far better meal than I can buy out. Most of the time I look at the overpriced meal and weep about the way they ruined good ingredients. On the rare occasion I am impressed it is either in a casino resort restaurant or some low priced out of the way place. I love good cooking and taught myself to cook the way I like things. People are always telling me I should open a restaurant. But cooking is an art to me not an assembly line.
