Default Ace-Five Count?

Newby here again.

Just got back from my first blackjack session. Broke even even after 3hrs of play on a Suncruz Casino (8d, s17, das, ls) - though I tipped so I was up a unit or two.

Mostly played basic strategy. And I tried to do the KO count but I'm not up to speed for it. Only been at it for a week.

I'm thinking about using Ace-Five (I know it's not a professional system) to get my feet wet into counting. Get that down then go to a more robust count.

If I were to use ace-five, what 'counts' do I use to bet more.

Haven't seen much of it online and the ace-five website is confusing to me. Saw on wizard of odds to use a 1-3 spread but didn't indicate the counts.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest putting in the time and learning KO. Its the easiest counting system I have found, yet it still preforms well. Im also new to blackjack and card counting and am currently working on mastering KO. Iv been practicing for just under 2 weeks now and im still no where near "casino speed". Get yourself the book and practice! Eventully it'll all come together. Good Luck.

Default Newby counters

Learning to count cards can be a mind-numbing experence for the newby first time in the casino, however with practice (at home computer and backcounting tables at the casino,) counting over time becomes automatic, much like basic strategy. However it takes time and effort to get to that level, and that is the reason that they are so few Advantage Players. Keep digging you will get there.
