Default can card counting not give you an advantage sometimes?

Have some casinos found ways to make card counting obsolete. Such as continuous shuffles?

More interested in east coast, especially turning stone in NY.

Yes. In fact, there are several simple changes that any casino in the world could make to their BJ games to make them completely uncountable (but still vulnerable to other methods of Advantage Play). Of course, if they did make those changes then fewer people would play and they would make less money from the game. That is why there are so many opportunities to make money playing BJ, especially when there is competition among several casinos. The casinos are willing to lose a little money to a few good players as long as they are making lots of money from lots of terrible players.
