Subscribing to Threads.

I noticed that it shows that I am subscribed to a couple threads. I don't recall every subscribing to them. I was just wondering, what actually happens when you subscribe to a thread?

Good question.

Under User CP / Edit Options, you have some settings that control what happens when you subscribe to a thread. (Subscribing happens automatically when you post a thread or a reply to a thread, depending on the settings.)

You can set the option to automatically send you an email when someone posts to your subscribed threads, or there are options to summarize your subscribed thread activity in a daily or weekly summary email.
