Questions about Being Barred
A little while ago, I was barred from a blackjack at a casino in Nevada. The specific words I heard were "You are no longer welcome to play blackjack at any of our properties."
I am assuming that this means I am barred from all of this casinos properties everywhere, but I am under the impression that you can't be barred in some places, at least New Jersey. So, if I went to the same company's AC store and used my player's card, I wouldn't be ejected, but just half-shoed, right (not that that is a good thing)?
This was my first experience with any type of back-off and it seems they went right for the jugular here. I am guessing that their computer says that I can't play any more at any of their stores, but I don't know for sure. Is this worth testing out, going to a store in a different state and seeing what happens? If I am in their computer would they most likely just escort me out if caught playing, or would they be calling police? They said I could enter casino and play other games, just not blackjack.
Also does anyone know if there are any other state based intricacies to being barred from blackjack? Especially interested in any mid-west intricacies.
Thanks guys!

Well, you’re not welcome --- but you can still play.
This is not a “trespass” if that's all that was said.

They can't trespass you from all their properties even though they might try. This doesn't even sound like a trespass as QFIT pointed out. Trash the players card and play anon, duh...

Actually, that's an interesting question. IANAL, but, it would seem to me that if someone read you the "trespass act," and stated that it was for all of "their" properties, they would need provide a list of what "all their properties" means and prove that they have the legal right to speak for all of these properties. It's not like it is fenced property with a "no trespassing" sign. I have a difficult time believing that any casino has a person on site legally capable of speaking for multiple properties.

I believe that issue came up in a lawsuit handled by Bob N. The Judge ruled that it's not up to the player to know the corporate structure of a casino empire. If each casino isn't mentioned by name, it didn't happen. However, throw away your card. You are flagged in their computer system and their computers know which casinos belong to them

I got backed off at Gold Coast in Vegas after hitting the Lucky Ladies for 2 Queens of Hearts. I'm still good at the Borgata in AC which is also owned by Boyd.
You didn't get barred, you just got backed off. There's a note on your card that you're a skilled player so it's no good anymore. Use up all the comp points left on it. Then get a new ID to make a new card.

Be careful though. The screens for PCs sometimes display a picture and will often display age/DOB. So if you use say your 50 year old friend's/co-worker's players card and are late 30s yourself, you might arouse heat before you even start spreading.

Thanks All.
Curious, say I am playing 3CP rated on a players card, is it possible to move to a different pit and then play blackjack unrated? Or would someone likely recognize me if I did that.
This may be moot as the store that hates me generally has good game protection on 3CP, but just curious if you all thought they recognize me if I was playing 3CP at one point rated and then at another point playing blackjack unrated in the same store.
