Well as you all know there are hudreds of books about BJ out there!
FIRST WARNING DO NOT BUY "POWERFUL PROFITS BLACKJACK" :whip:

It seams to me that anybody can write a book on BJ! It is so boaring reading about the same thing over and over again.
Second of all , rules of math say that we supose to win playing BJ while having an edge. In most of those books about BJ thaey say that is very hard to gain an edge over the house in todays game (which I agree with), but the best thing of all is : THEY WRITE THE BOOK AND THAN ALWAYS ASK THAT STUPID QUESTION "IS IT REALLY POSSIBLE TO BEAT BLACKJACK". And after that it comes hole bunch of bla bla bla bla stuff!

YES it is extremly hard to beat blackjack in todays game! Hoping to make any money from it ( nice dreams)! And all those writers know that, and still find material to write 400 page book! Why? TO MAKE MONEY OF COURSE! It is easier that way!

But the best thing is when they write the book how to win at Roulette, or even SLOTS!!!!!!!!!! Than we do not need an edge!!!!!!!! So why than they don't find a way how to win BJ without an edge, why do they even mention procents and edge........... Of course they have to write about it to make money of of their books.

Today I bought "POWERFUL PROFIT$ BLACKJACK" by victor h royer!

By the way he suggest not spliting 8:8 against dealers 10 and A ( but hitting)
No doubling of 9 against dealers 3
12 do not hit against dealers 2 and 3
No doubling of A;6 against 3 (same rule by royer if you get A;7)
and lot more bull....

By the way "POWERFUL PROFIT$ SLOTS" available for people who wants to waste their money. Obviously EDGE NOT NEEDED!!! :flame:

You are right. There are a ton of awful blackjack books out there. Just this week I turned down an advertising offer from someone wanting to advertise books from one of these shysters on the site here. FWIW, no amount of money will buy placement for these guys here.

And THAT is why this is a very respected site Ken!

For those of your looking for a shortcut and easy way to a million dollars at Blackjack, well, there is no way. No magic is involved in Blackjack. The only way you are going to get an advantage is to pay the dues and learn counting and accept the risks that go along with Advantage Play in the casinos. There are other ways, but they will land you in jail.

I have yet to see a claim of any kind for a get rich scheme in BJ that holds any credibility superior to flat betting other than counting. Some are more "exciting" but none more effective.

If you want to make a profit with blackjack. Write a book and title it something like "making a profit playing blackjack". Hopefully it will sell and you can make a profit off of blackjack. Otherwise you will need flawless BS, a large bankroll, the ability to count, luck and enough play time to be consider "long run". That said, I have read some helpfull books about blackjack, but the ones that promise an guaranteed profit or a "new system" seem to not deliver.
