A few AC updates

Has anybody been to the bathrooms in Taj recently? They have the most high tech hand dryer machine I've seen yet. I guess they used the money they make from the $50 8 deck H17 monstrosities on weekday nights, no less, to pay for them :p

Hilton still the same old 6 deck $10 and $25 games with 66% pen  and a lot of H17 8 deck games mixed in.

Resorts must be hurting bad because I saw half of the tables closed on a FRIDAY NIGHT no less. 75% pen

Taj Mahal... main floor is terrible. (How can you be so stupid to have NMSE on an 8 deck H17 $25 game with 75% pen!) That said, I did have fun playing poker here and they do have $5 craps tables with 10x odds.

Borgata... they've taken a few BJ tables in favor of stupid games like Casino War!! Not that most of us care because they were H17 tables. Pen is still meh. I have to give them credit for actually doing something SMART at their buffet. They have an Asian section where they seat their Asian customers and have Asian waiters and waitresses serving them. I did want to knock some sense into the manager though when I saw signs saying "Sugar free apple pie." That is just not possible unless you know of some way to get sugar out of apples.

Caesars has a promotion now where if you earn 100 RC's (basically an hour of playing at a $15 table) you can get a free buffet at La Piazza. (From what I've heard, the buffet is marginal at best)

Showboat... Is there really any reason to go here aside from the drinks??

Bally's/WWW Still the same old same old. Probably the most crowded joint right now in AC other than the Borgata and with their games being pretty bad, there's no reason to play BJ here. Surprisingly though, I saw not one but TWO empty SP21 tables :) I'm guessing they've burnt through most of the ploppies.

If it's the one made by Dyson, yes. It really works!

The old, classic hand dryers are pathetic. You know, the ones that tell you how environmentally friendly they are by not wasting paper (though they don't mention the extra coal burned from the 220V 2000W electrical demand) and with the instructions:
1. Press button
2. Rub hands together briskly
3. Wipe hands on pants when done, if you really want them dry...

The electric hand dryer- that amenity that tells your customers "We value your patronage less than we value the cost of a paper towel. Besides, we don't believe you really wash your hands anyway, you scumbag."

How about G N Casino? Perhaps you left it out for me to add it onto your report ;). GN gets the best bj game in AC, and here it goes:

1) The lowest limit in the high roller pit.

:1st:25 bucks, even during the weekend!

2) Surrender option to its welcome guests (Ask & U'll receive).

:1st::1st:The only AC casino that offers the surrender option in a $25 bj game.

3) No heat in the high roller pit, even on the weekend!

:1st::1st::1st:Nobody cares in the pit (because of layoffs at anytime soon?). A winning player jumped from 1 hand of $25 to 3 hands of purples, a la crazy nutty Asian's style .

4) The best pen for a $25 bj game. Of course, it takes money (just a white toke Y'all) to entice the dealer.

LMAO!!! This was a good one!!

Hey Thunder, thanks for the report... Looks like I'll meet you at Showboat for a "top-shelf" cocktail... :toast: besides that, very little reason to hit up AC at least until Labor Day, when beach season ends and games go back to "normal" (?) (hopefully)

Yes, Apples are rich in fructose, a sugar, but ...

I would just "pencil in" the word "added" after the
Sugar" in "Sugar free apple pie."

Well then that must be a very recent development because the last time I was there, there was definitely heat.

I was at GN recently. It was quite nice, quiet and civilized. I didn't get any heat, but we Hermanos rarely do!

Hey Brother, you're right on & the best. We'll rob elbows soon at the GN's pit.

Bad guys' habits never change. The heat is DOWN when a lawsuit starts. Casino guys have always bullied and put heat on skilled players until they're taken to the court. Examples are: Tropworld (now Tropicana) vs Anthony, and now Previn vs Trump Marina Casino.

Recently Previn starts a lawsuit against Trump Marina Casino (now GN Casino) for excessive "heat & roughness" (i.e., shuffling up when an ace's coming up, tackling and backrooming of Previn when he merely returned to the casino floor later in the evening). Hmm... from now on until the end of Previn's lawsuit, gamblers will be greeted by a more friendly GN's crew, as noted by Automatic Monkey :toast:.

Is this true across AC properties right now? I feel like I should have more heat right now, but I'm not getting it.
Seems the same as of late in general. Saw another AP get heat at R. recently (so the usual), due to his constant in place wonging out (pit crew asked dealer what he was betting, how much he took with him, etc., while he was wonged out). Still find this hilarious, there I am staring right at them talking about another AP.

Left before I could see it play out, also cut a bunch of aces to the front of a deck so it was time to move on anyways :)
