Everything is relative. But, there are really no bad QBs or receivers in the NFL. Even the second string is amazing.

Are you old enough to remember Rocky Thompson? Lam Jones?

Andre Johnson and David Carr.

Granted, but that was only for a couple of years. And David Carr actually wasn't terrible, it was the offensive line. He never had a chance getting sacked 100 times a year.

Hey did you see the Jets-Giants pre-season game? Carr is horrible! Just kidding, right, he's no Jamarcus Russel

Of course, no argument a good QB makes WRs better, and vice versa. But there are exceptions, where you would say there are good QBs who put up good stats no matter what receivers they have (Manning), and good WRs with mediocre QBs. Andre Johnson came to mind. I assume Santana Moss played with a bunch of no name QBs at Washington for most of his career (Jason Campbell). Randy Moss probably played with an over the hill Moon and Cunningham. Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams in Detroit presumably played with a bunch of crappy QBs.

Speaking of Detroit, heck, you can even probably say there are RBs who put good #'s with crappy O-lines, like Barry Sanders.

Go back a few years to Romo in the playoffs for Dallas. He had all the time in the world in the first half. He looked like a genius. The second half he had no protection. He looked like a high school quarterback in way over his head. He just kept picking himself up off the turf. Dallas was eliminated and went home to watch the rest of the post season from their dens.
