I was going to warn you about the Steelers but the Ravens are my team so I thought I might be biased so I decided to hold my tongue. After all you are playing for money. I was concerned after cutting Flacco's 2 favorite receivers and the shortened preseason that the chemistry might not be there yet. They looked pretty good. I am excited about the upcoming season.

The Redskins are for real this year. Covered the spread by 17 and I'm 1-0

Wow!
Biggest upset of the week must be the Bears beating Atlanta by 18. Had to be a fluke.
Next game (Saints) won't be pretty for the Bears.

I don't bet football except for the Super Bowl. Each week I pick two or three teams and at the end of the year, I take the money I would have lost on them and buy something nice.
So far this year, I've placed two bets- overtime in the Super Bowl and a bet the Yankees win the AL championship that I had a 50% matchplay for. Steelers looked terrible. So did my Giants.

You should have told us in advance you could be a gold mine for some people here. I personally don't think the Yankees will win the AL championship. Not enough arms. Boston looks worst. TB might catch Boston for the wild card. between Detroit, Texas, and a if TB lies your winner. Detroit with Verlander, Fister, and Schwezer, present a pretty good line up. With Verlander pitching 2 games in a short series pretty tough. Also if the Angels catch Texas that could be very tough with their pitching. You have to remember pitching beats hitting in the playoffs always did and always will. Just my 2 cents.

Yankees have, by far, the best bullpen so they'll have the best pitching at crunch time. If not, my $25 bet, with its $12.50 MP to win somewhere over $100 will have cost me about a dollar a week.

For 20 seasons I've gotten my hopes up for the Redskins. One more time I have my hopes up.
It's hard to settle for a losing team after 20 years of Allen, Pardee and Gibbs (his first stint in Washington).

Yeah Giants looked terrible. Bit of a Sunday Surprise that Tuck did not play. w/o him you basically lose the linchpin of the Giants D. Its easy to counter a D with one good pass rusher by double teaming him (Pierre-Paul), but much more difficult with two.

Don't worry Aslan, I'm sure Snyder will figure out a way to screw up your team

Try waiting for the Detroit Lions.
