Crown's downhill slide
As stated to me recently by AussiePlayer, a dealer at Crown Casino announced that the Monte Carlo room would move towards Crown BJ and remove Premier BJ. After visiting tonight I can confirm this to be true. I went into the VIP Teak Room to find that ALL tables in there are also Crown BJ. Premier BJ is now obsolete and puts into line Crown Casino with other Australian casinos in imposing doubling restrictions. For players at Crown, this means battling a 0.75% HE game. A tough ask. It's quite shameful of Crown to be honest. What next? CSM games in all VIP areas also? I'm not sure what the Mahogany Room is like, but last time I checked it was S17 and DOA. Can anyone confirm current rules?

So is there any available public shoe games? And where would be the best place to play in Australia?

The Monte Carlo room has shoe games, but it has essentially become what the main gaming floor used to be, Crown BJ. Everything has taken a step down the BJ ladder rung. The main floor was Crown BJ, now fully CSM. Monte Carlo was Premier BJ, now Crown BJ. Soon the entire main floor will become Sports BJ and VIP gaming fully CSM! Don't be surprised if that happens.

Damn, didn't! I'm more than certain it would extend to the Maple Room. I see no reason why they'd change a members only area and public VIP room and keep it Premier BJ in a small room with 3 BJ tables. Although, knowing Crown, nothing would surprise me. Anyway, I'll be there tomorrow night, going to the footy with my dad. Go Cats!

Were you there tonight, AussiePlayer? I had a look around also. I can also confirm the Maple Room is Crown BJ. I think the only way to play Crown is scout for GREAT penetration and Wong in and out aggressively.
