Sharky's NFL play-o-the-weak
off and running this year with my NFL play of Da' (hint) week...last year, my first posting of my plays on this site - although I have several year's of documented history - I went 9-6-2 after a 7-0 start...keep in mind, just like BJ, this a marathon, not a sprint
I love the Atlanta Falcons -2.5 over da' Chicago Bears...don't fret this home dog, as he won't be barking much and you will firing a Cohiba by halftime.
GOOD LUCK!

I guess the weak in the header of your post isn't a typo. Atlanta doesn't have to worry about dogs after Vic got rid of them. 7-0 early when the teams are still showing you who they are and just horrible late after you can see how they gel. That is unusual. If it isn't luck maybe your early advice is worth heeding.

I like the pic, Bears have a feeling of a team ready to disintegrate (similar to Colts - this is probably a duh, but saw signs last year, even w/o Manning injury).
I might also suggest taking Rams +4 over Eagles. Eagles seem over-hyped, and have the feeling of a game Eagles tend to inexplicably lose - vs bad team, away.

I'm taking the Skins over the Giants at +3. Why you ask? Aside from being home, the Redskins have a much improved defense over last year and a better O-line which should give Grossman more time to throw to an upgraded WR group. Not to mention the Giants are suffering from a lot of injuries. Tim Hightower is also much better than the Clinton Portis the Redskins had last year.

I'm not so sure about this one. Yes the injuries to the Giants are a big ?, which actually makes me very wary of making any prediction on this game. However, the Giants D feasts upon inexperienced bad QBs, and gets ripped to shreds by an experienced good QB - its some sort of combination of a sclerotic coaching staff that can't quickly adjust to a quickly adjusting QB, or an experienced QB is largely unfazed by the Giants pass rush and can counter it. Very likely Grossman will be the Giant's MVP
The injuries, and how Giants react, just want to make me stay away from this game completely.

Take the STEELERS -14 in a real snoozer...expect them to get on track after a difficult road game last week..don't let the large line scare you on this one...these teams are MUCH further apart than 14 pts...expect 30+ here
GOOD LUCK!
Last week: 0-1
Season: 0-1

Atlanta has won the past 5 meetings - by 28 pts combined, so they have been close - against division rival Tampa Bay. TB coach Raheem Morris has yet to beat the Falcons (0-4) in his young career, however I look for both of these to change at home today against a team that has to prove it can win on the road, let alone on grass. Take TAMPA BAY -1.
GOOD LUCK!
