Just came back from a casino cruise. Did real well and I was able to follow a count on a 8 deck shoe that was full (7 sitted, 2 standing now and then).

Took ya'lls advice to learn KO. Practiced counting a decks till I got it under 30 sec consistently. Played 5000 simulated hands to get BS down. And researched posts from the beginning.

I think what helped me the most is Casino Veritae(sp?). I set the settings to deal/payoffs to the fastest setting with dealer speeding play on obvious hands and six seated with peeps going in and out with random playing speed. Probably played 20 hours worth before going to the casino and it was definitely slower in real life.

I feel like Neo of the Matrix now.... still a far ways to go but I'm so stoked about following the count.
