I get it, I really do.
The one thing we gained with the new version is the IM capability that many had requested.
Also, I hate to spend another license fee for the Java chat software when I have bigger plans to build upon eventually. Still, I might consider it on a month-to-month basis for a while. I'll give it some thought. Likely won't happen for a few days regardless.
There are two main complaints about the current chat:
1) The windows are too small and can't be resized.
2) After about 15 minutes, you get sort of logged out and cannot chat until you refresh the page.
If there are other complaints about the current version, let me know as that will influence my decision.
I keep hoping that ArrowChat will release v1.1, which originally was rumored to be due in August.
