Default Future of our dear BlackJack

Well guys what do you think!

Where is the future of BlackJack as we know it today!
We can make sure that the game doesn't change by NOT PLAYING 6:5, and other stupid variations that casinos are trying to introduce to make the game complitely unbeatable. Of course WE DO NOT WANT THAT!!!!!!!

Default CSM's

I think the biggest concern for card counters is the continuous shuffle machines. They are showing up in more and more casinos all the time and there is never a shortage of players at those tables. You really have to wonder how long it will be before all the casinos start using them.

Only one thing can be stated....the Casinos are there to make money. As much money as they can rake in! As long as they can fill the tables, they will continue to escalate the rules that will give them the most advantage.

I only hope that they realize that most BJ players have friends or spouses with them and that those companions are probably feeding the ever-hungry slot machines. It behoves them to keep the Blackjack game as table friendly as they can as a "loss leader." But for some strange reason, I do not think that mentality on the part of the Casino is going to be predominate. Certainly not from what I'm seeing and hearing about the games on the Strip.

Yeah the only thing we can do is not to play at tables that have CSMs, but still there are many players that don't care because they play Bj ocasionaly and they know when they go to casino that they are going to lose money anyway. And that is what casino is hoping for, getting new players used to new rules, variations , and methods that will definitelly kill any power of counting methods and other advanced strategies. But still I can say that people do not like when cards come out of some machine, it just looks more fair when cards are dealt by dealer, and that is the reason people go to casinos to feel that atmosphere, that if I can say old school old time atmosphere, and they on't want some machines and Hi tech stuff. If so they wouldn't have to come to casino they could play Bj or any other game on Internet. WEll casino managers know that very well because CSMs would've taken completelly over long time ago.

Second of all I think that betting systems would easyly work on CSMs because they randomise cards so much that they are almost evenly distrbuted, which can be good for betting systems. For example "up as you lose" but not pure Martingale.

Well all we can do is to avoid CSMs , all stupid variations and rules that casino is trying to introduce, tell our friends not to play these games nad hope for the best!!!

Default Continuous Shuffling

I have played against these monsters, at Star City in Sydney (-$500) and also in Canberra, where I moved tables very quickly, every 3 or 4 hands, the Dealer would reach over and put the cards into the machine, but the hopper has a bank of 10-15 cards, so the more cards the players can take the better, but it is still very ugly - STAY AWAY from 'em

Happy BJing
