Here is a crude but effective way to look at the debt ceiling ---
Suppose you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your home, and you have sewage up to your ceilings.
What do you think you should do? Raise the ceilings, or pump out the sh*t?

I feel sorry for you Shad. Easily brainwashed people come in all political bents, that is most of the problem. If I lumped all the lefties in with the vocal whack jobs that I have met I would think the same of them. Just try not to be one of those prejudice types that meet a few bad apples and paint a broad brush over millions of people. I don't think I need to tell you how wrong that is. Maybe I do. I remember you taking a similar incident that happened to me with the prejudice Obama bumper sticker crowd forcing us to move a sweet middle aged black couple out of one of our apartments where I commented that I hate hypocrisy and you tried to take it as a broad brush statement. That is a dangerous way to think. It is what keeps bigotry alive. Hopefully you don't think that way.

She was partially right. A Federal worker doesn't earn that much but it costs us close to that to put him on the payroll. And the Democrats appear to be planning to dangle the "reparations" bone in 2012 to racialize the election. In 2008 it was obvious that people believed Obama could do things any intelligent person would know he can't do.

No one is saying she was a typical teabagger. All I said was she was an annoying person who constantly sprouted "facts" that were nothing but lies and got indignant when people choose not to sit there and listen to her.
