I don't know if it's because I haven't been checking our site for awhile or if it's just me but did something happen here? The finance site is locked, what's up with that? Looks like there was a shift in the feel of the site in general and I can't put my finger on it. Did something happen here?

A faked death and a lot of political discussion. I'm in the minority that thought everything was fine, but I always try to be open minded

I haven't decided yet. If things get to running too smoothly, maybe I'll open it back up.

It seems that any excuse to post political opinions is too tempting for some members.

If thats the case, why punish the whole class? Why not punish the offenders? Give them a few days in the penalty box and if they don't learn banish them to the Zen Zone. Its crazy that we can't have a discussion on tipping without getting an economics lesson.

I certainly hope you're including yourself in that "offenders" category because it was none other than shadroch that slammed Glen Beck in that very same thread.
