The line on today's Penn St./WI game is ridiculous (WI -14.5). I have to take Penn St. with that many points!

Figure this one out-------AP poll has Michigan State rated 4 spots HIGHER than WI Badgers and opening Vegas line has the Badgers favored by 9.5 points in Saturday's game.
To top it off, the game will be played at a neutral site (Indianapolis)!!!!!
I look for WI to win but I can't give 9.5 points.

I'm a huge Crimson Tide fan but it is simply stupid that they are not even in their leagues championship game but will more likely than not end up in the National Championship Game.

I'm not that familiar with that conference (SEC?). Why wouldn't the Tide be in the league championship game?

Because they didn't win their division. The championship game is Georgia vs LSU.
If LSU wins, a Bama- LSU rematch in the Championship bowl is the most likely scenerio. If Georgia win, who knows what happens, but Bama would still be a favorite to play in the game.
Its possible two SEC teams-neither of whom won the Conference will play for the National Championship.

I believe Bama to be a lock for playing in the BCS national championship game and more than likely it will be against LSU. Should be one helluva game.
I did not realize that they are in the same division of the SEC.
