Hi there-

I'm kinda new to and I have several questions -

-On average, what kind of money do you have to start with? $100, $200

- How many hands are you requireed to play?

-Has anybody played at Golden Palace Casino? Ive downloaded their software and am having a great time learning.

They have all that information in their terms and conditions. I think you deposit $100 and they give you $300 and you have to wager that like 20 times so about $8000. So your EV should be about $260. This is the best online casino in the entire world. That is, as far as I know and I have played just about all of them.

EV is expeced value. You are expected to make $260 profit.

If you only wager 200 hands then you are betting $40 per hand. I don't know what your risk of ruin would be but I think it would be above 50%. I don't remember what I did but I think I either be $10 per hand or multiple hands of $5. I wouldn't bet more than $10 per hand or less than $5 per hand.

Thanks for all the info. If I follow your example ($10) a bet how many hands is that? How long will it take?

My concern is this; fatigue and sloppy play can take effect after a while.

If I go back after my first day, do I have to play any required number of hands? Example - On my second trip to Golden Palace, I start with $200, do I have to play 100s of hands, or can I play like 20 hands and cash out? I've checked the site but can't get the info without signing up to play for real money.

Thanks

It would take you between 2.5-3 hours. I really can't recommend betting $10 per hand. I know you would have a huge risk of ruin. When I played I got really lucky and kept winning and once I got up to $600 that is when I started betting $10/hand. I can't recommend you bet more than $6/hand MAX. I say you bet 2 or 3 hands of $5 dollars. Probably 2 hands. Maybe someone else has advice.

Also, the best advice I have to offer online bonus hunters is to CALL CALL CALL. Call then whenever you have a question. If you are uncertain about something that is not totally clear call them and have them give you clear confirmation over the phone. I always made them spell everyting out for me so there would be no surprises. Be very tedious.

I say bet as many hands as they allow, which I believe is 5. Playing multiple hands does not change your EV, but it cuts way down on the playing time.

Actually, there is nothing he can possibly do that will change his EV. But playing multiple $5 hands I think increases your risk of ruin from just one $5 hand, but not as much as betting $10 hands per hand.

I think he has enough info now to decide how much he wants to bet. I would never play a WR of 8000 betting the minimum at one hand at a time just to lower my risk. It all depends on how much time your willing to put in, vs how much risk you're willing to take on.

Thanks guys,

I pobably will sign up next week at Golden Palace, but not sign up for the "free" money. I am not an online bonus hunter. But before I do, i want to play another 1000 hands for fun so I can make sure I have BS down pat.

Note - according to GP.com, the decks are shuffled after each and every hand. So much for card counting, not that I'm that advanced yet.

I also noticed that GP.com pays 2 to 1 for a winning hand (demo and live) which sounds pretty good. Do most online casinos pay that also. Or is it usually 1 to 1?

Thanks
