Doubling Down On-Line Trend

#1
I am playing on Sands of the Caribbean right now. I'm not getting creamed, but over the past two days (since I started there) I am losing the vast majority of my double downs. I almost NEVER get a high card, like an ace or a 10, when, say, doubling down on a 10. Oh, I get plenty of aces when doubling down on 11, however. I don't think this is a short-term downward trend in the stats, either. Anyone else have any experience there?

online BJ

I would strongly recommend pokerroom.com

I have been playing there for a very long time and that is actually the only online casino I play in. There is only one reason. It is hones casino.

Swedish company is owner. Sweden - I am just going to say reputation! You do not have to worry that you are going to be cheated or something else.

Do you really feel safe when you put your money in casinos that are on some islands that even hardly exist on map. I do not want to talk bad about other countries, but those countries just do not have too good reputation. It is very easy to get gaming license, corruption is in every pore of society and pretty much you can buy anything with money. I know this very well because I am from Serbia ( I would never ever deposit any money in casino that resides over there).

For good and safe game find reputable casino.
Pokerroom is great because you don't have to download their software, plus you get to see other players play BJ for real money.

I didn't know you could play Blackjack at pokerroom.com. I play some poker there.

There is a thread concerning Sands of the Caribbean in the "Problem Casinos" section. I didn't have a profitable time when I played there. Or I should say, I had a good run while playing in the bonus period (I had to wager about $2000 worth if I remember correctly) which I was able to do with no problem and was up to about $350.00 from my initial $50. I couldn't cash out right away because they have to send you a pin number (bogus!) in order to process your claim. This took over a week for me and so I decided to try to increase my winnings. But, guess what, I couldn't win anything anytime. The dealer would never bust with a 2-6, anytime! He also got blackjack often and I never did. And I always lost when I doubled or split. I tried playing at different times and different days with the same results. I finally got my pin and cashed out with $60. They lost my business for sure. I'll stick with the local casino.

Too bad on-line casinos can't be regulated.

After several recommendations for PokerRoom.com by BJStanko and others, I'll try them out. I've also opened an affiliate account with them.

Great!

Try it out yourself! I bet you will love it.

And as I said many times, there is just honest feeling about pokerroom.com. I like the most that I can actually see other players play for real money. It makes me think that they are not trying to hide anything, and that they are fair. For people who like to play poker , perfect place. Lots of promotions bonuses etc.

I have been playing Blackjack at Pokerroom.com now and I have seen a lot of people splitting their 20's. Is there a time when you should split your 20's or are they being stupid? The times I saw them split their 20, they happen to win both hands. The dealer's face card was a 3 or 4 when they split usually. Is this the reason? I never split my 20's no matter what.
