Default Gulf Coast casinos

It's hard to find that much information on casinos on the Gulf Coast. I plan on playing in Biloxi, Gulfport and New Orleans area on a regular basis starting in late August early September. Would anyone be interested in exchanging info on the the playing conditions?

Default I would

I play in Philadelphia almost weekly, but I want to check out Biloxi, Gulfport and the New Orleans area. My schedule for being able to make it down there will be highly variable.

How often do you think you will be playing down there? I plan on playing weekly except for when midterms and finals come around. Couple more casinos will be opening in August. I heard Biloxi area will have more casinos than it used to have.

Haven't been since Katrina, but I hear that gaming revenues are far exceeding what they were pre-K. You looking for a particular city, or the Southern coast in general? Start in N.O., migrate to Biloxi, then spend a couple of days in Gulf Shores or Destin on the beach.

I am looking for info for casinos from New Orleans to Biloxi , but mostly Biloxi area. Played at Treasure Chest and Harrah's after Katrina. According to Boomtown's New Orleans website they only have SD and DD games and Belle of Orleans I think is still closed.

I'll probably be playing monthly. My weekly spot is Philadelphia, because it's so close.

Default What about Tunica or Shreveport?

Might be a bit further to drive, but both have some pretty good tables.

I might stop by and play for awhile in Shreveport on my next road trip. Tunica and Shreveport are about four times the distance than Biloxi and New Orleans casinos are just a few minutes away.

Default Shreveport

Don't know if you're into tournament play, but the Eldorado has a weekly Tuesday nighter. $20 entry, $1,000 first.
