Default Where do you usually play in Vegas?

Going back to Vegas in a couple of days and trying to get some ideas where I want to play and maybe hit a few different ones at the same time. Anyone have a favorite in Vegas to play at and why? Where can you find single deck Black jack without the 6:5 in Vegas? Any info is appreciated.

Take Care
Dusty

1 of my favorites is the Palace Station, although it's not on the Strip they have a free hourly shuttle to and from the Strip. Mostly local patrons, friendly employees including dealers and have always been lenient with comps including monthly $10,000 tournaments that include comped entry and 3 nights room comped. The weekday room rates average about $50 compared to 150 to 200 on the strip but if you stay there request a tower room not a garden court room. The Garden Court is cheaper but basically a motel in the back with a 5 minute walk to the casino.

Las Vegas Club (downtown) in Feb. had single deck: DOA,noDAS,H17, 3-2 for BJ,$10min.....I had some good one on one games w/the dealer during the daytime. A real friendly dealer, who hailed from Russia There DD games weren't bad: DOA,DAS,H17,$5min. It was a blast playing at those tables, the other players were a riot!!! Both games were hand shuffled and tossed....good luck...

Default Downtown

4-Queens has a single deck 3:2 game and during the week at least, the table minimum is $5. The pen sucks, but the game is otherwise pretty normal I think. I didn't play there a lot.

My favorite place to play though is downtown at Plaza. Double Deck, 65% pen, s-17, DOA, DAS, Split 3 times, no hit after split on aces and always $5 minimum $2000 max bets. They have only one $25 table up close to the entrance but have usually 3 $5 tables. In the back they have another pit that they open up with the crowds hit where I think the less experienced dealers work.

I believe the Plaza usually has two 6-deck shoe tables open with $5 minimums.

Plaza is the best place I know of, as mentioned above. Bled them for 42 units profit in about 6 hrs of play this past weekend.

Default Where You Usually Play In Vegas

Recently played at New York, New York Casino. Tables range from $5 - $100 Min. Got a nice room for around $60 during the week, rate went to $79 for weekend. Wasn't counting but they offer single deck and multi deck. Friendly dealers and pit.

Roger,

Do you remember the rules off hand? Did they have late surrender? What kind of deck penetration did they have? Do they hit soft 17? Do they have shoe games?

Just curious as I have played there years ago (Basic Strategy) and don't quite remember all the details...
