crown casino melbourne australia

Hello people,
I play at crown about every 2-3 weeks and usually for approx 4 hours at a time.
They use an 8 deck auto shuffle so the odds are about 52% in favour of the house.
I use to do that thing people do and try to beat them using $100 at a time  ,
But since I found this site and printed out 3 cards on the best standard betting practices I have been turning my $100 into approx 250-450.
The way I now do it is on a 10 dollar table I start when the deck is new and I only bet against the dealer, something a lot of people at tables dont get, they worry about the cards others get dealt or deal,
Howere I do watch for runs of small or large ,and I sometimes increase my bet based on whats seems to be running (woohooo junior card counter in the making)
I also leave when I hit $250 on the table not including the $100 I always put back in my pocket, you have to know when to stop.
Anyway this is the 5th time I have used the knowledge gained from this site and I am up in money and enjoying the game more than I ever have.
Regards Jon

So crown uses 8 decks do they? That makes sense, I had some guy tell me they use 4. Shows hes full of crap. :D

Are you talking about the continuous shufflers, or just machines that shuffle at the end?

Ill hopefully be hitting crown once I get a bit better. :D

Any other comments about crown? I might head in there one day just to check it out. I usually hate going there looking at all the silly ppl pumping money into the pokies, hopefully my BJ education will change that.

at star city in sydney where i live they have a 6 deck shoe.

the best thing to always do it ask the dealer they are obliged to tell you how many decks are there etc. if you ask.

i must admit i had fun at crown when i was in melbourne. the amazing thing about crown is i went there on a friday and saturday night walked straight up to a $10 Table and sat down with no problems..

at star city you have to wait for about 20-30 minutes for a seat to become vacant and thats on a tuesday night at like 2am! or any weird time you decide to go and play!

fri/sat nights forget about it. you cant even see the table your standing so far away.. its either $25 table or nothing. LOL

its just there way of trying to get people to become impaitent and play $25 table.
