Revere Point Count

I am a 20 year old college student and have developed quite a passion for blackjack over the past two years. I am now just getting into the real nitty-gritty details of card counting and have a question concerning my card counting method. I started off using HI Opt I and after making some profit, have decided to up my playing a notch. I now am working on Revere Point Count wherein 2 and 7 assign values of +1 and 3's thru 6's assign values of +2. All 10's and aces are -2. How should change my betting strategies since the count is now more often higher (and lower) than when I was using HI Opt I. At what count should I place my max bet?
