Bad bad night at first...5 out of 9 hands with me sitting pat with either 20's or 19's the dealer pulls either a 5 or a 6 respectively in conjunction to make their 21's. By now I'm down 9k.
There are an unbelievable amount of small cards on the table and faces are due big time. Dealer shows a 4 and I've got 2 hands of a 1k each. One hand pulls a BJ and the other hand is splitting 8's. Not once but three times. Sitting on 2 stiffs and one 18 after all that. Dealer pulls their 3 then their 5, then another 5 for a 17.
Next hand with 1k on 3 hands the dealer draws a 4 and I get 2 BJ's and a stiff. With the dealer not busting I'm up 1k for the night with an extra $25 chip which I always tip the server after I win for the night.
I want to go home with the 13,900 in chips and tell the pit this and he makes a phone call and they say no problem. I'm looking for the server but can't find her so I tell the pit to tell her so that the next time I'm in I'll give her $50.
Well wouldn't you know on the way out I see her and give her the chip. She says to me "Oh you had a good night?" I replied, "No not really I basically broke even and am just happy to go home where I'm at". She says "Oh".
Well I'm counting my chips when I'm home and I accidently gave her a FIVE HUNDRED dollar chip!!!!! :cry:
I phoned the casino to see if anything can be done...They're going to get back to me. I'm thinking that it may just be her lucky night...
What would you guys do? Bite it and just tell them not to worry about it and consider myself lucky that I did manage to come back from a 9k hole. I should be happy with $500 right? Errrrr...make that $525....
