No. Not for straight Basic Strategy play.

A good strategy is to not play it.

Default Scm

I have read that CSM's offer a slightly less house advantage and more towards the basic stategy player due to the "cut card effect".

The "edge" on CSMs is terribly slight. I've watched players betting $50, $100 and $200 a hand on CSMs when they could go down the road about 7 miles and sit at a hand shuffled game. Granted, that CSM game allows late surrender, but other than for that, one would have to think that the players are definitely trying to play Basic Strategy...but they only come somewhat close to 100% BS. I think they are just wanting the rush of betting larger amounts than is allowed at the hand shuffled game.
