Question three card freq. counting

Afternoon to all, I wonder if anyone has been able to analyze the three cards poker game. I know it uses the autoshuffler but I'm interested in tracking of cards. I remember reading someone got to see inside one once during a breakdown and said some interesting things. I'm interested to know if anyone else got to see the guts of beast. thanks blackchip jim

In my opinion you won't be able to track cards with an automatic shuffler. I think that any "patterns" found are purely coincidental.

The way that pros beat 3-card poker is by holecarding - ie, flashing dealers. zg

I took full advantage of flashing dealers when playing in the 3-card poker promo. Once one of the cards flashed for a fraction of a second, and the dealer just kept going as if noone saw it. I saw that it was an ace. It saved me 50 dollars since I had King high with 25 dollar bet out.

Another thing that happened a few times. Sometimes I would be distracted and forget to fold or bet. The dealer just out of habit played out his hand every time. The dealer didn't qualify. When he went to pay my bet off he realized I hadn't bet or folded. I immediately said, "I was going to play that", and I put my bet on my cards. It turns out I had only Jack high, and was paid instead of me losing my bet by folding. I suppose I could have tested how far I could go with it and purposely not place my bet, but I only took advantage of this when I really did forget to place my bet.

Default three card

I was aware of the hole card method but it is near impossible because the dealers are required to undercard their hand before it leaves the machine. I did remember someone seeing the machine open and saying the deck is split nine ways and shuffled in segments. He said that it may have a variance that could be tracked and mentally recorded so a person or persons would know when to up thier bets. The cards in the casino where I play also change decks every four hours. The dealers also,at least some of them arrange the cards in order of rank after a winning hand. Thanks for the replies. blkchpjim
