ive read that video poker ranks up in the top 3 for casino bets with the lowest house edge. anyone here play and what variation do you play.

Play deuces wild. If the machine has the standard payout table it actually pays over 100% back with BS. BUT it will take a long time to actually realize your edge. I think Ken Smith has a slot site somewhere. You might be able to find a BS chart for the game.

thanks for your reply. i actually was following a BS chart on about.com (but a little confused about the abbreviations) for Jacks or Better. I will look into deuces wild as i am just starting and read Jacks or Better was easy to start off with. If anyone has the link handy for BS on deuces wild it would be appreciated!

I was playing nickel Jacks or Better at 4-Queens this past week and hit a Royal for 4,000 credits ($200). I don't think I've ever seen a nickel 9/6 Video Poker game. These machines were located next to the Keno room. At these same machines, I saw a "bag lady" put $5 in the machine and playing a bonus game, hit 5 4ok's in an hour's time and cashed out with over $100 on the ticket!
