It started by a new member posting a pitch for the book, "Beat the Players" which was quickly followed by photos of cans of spam and a few negative comments. That was followed by my stating that even if the original poster had a book selling agenda, the subject was important. Both myself and Las Vegas Bear mentioned instances where non advantage players were abused by casino security in the past.
The members who responded just simply attacked advantage players as putting themselves at risk and perhaps deserving whatever they got. Those two threads were deleted.
I then tried to begin a new thread, begginning it with saying I understood the attitude of the general public that it just would not happen to them. By the time I logged on again, that thread was also long gone.
Today I began another thread stating that the webmaster should be ashamed of himself for deleting debate and that I was finished on that site. A few hours later I looked at the site and the post also was "moved" or deleted.
I spent about a year visiting that sight. More than anything I probably pointed out the differences to people there about good and bad games, for those wanting it how to learn basic strategy and a ton of historical information.
Since all the threads were deleted before I could see most of the posts, I can never be sure why they were all deleted, but obviously there are better uses of my time. By the way, no advanced techniques were really discussed in any detail by myself.
