Default 2:1 Bj

I know that using only basic strategy still leaves the player at a disadvantage. But what if the casino paid winning bets more than 1:1, and more than 1.5:1 for BJ?

There are certain coupons which are distributed when using certain bus lines to travel to certain casinos. These coupons are placed with any bets and are payed the value of the coupons. So for example, if I have a $10 coupon, and I am wagering $10, and I win the hand, I receive $10 and $10 for the coupon for a total payout of 2:1, or double what I would normally receive for a winning hand. I would be paid similarly for a natural, 1.5:1 for each hand and for each coupon.

Having these payouts , is it worth playing simply basic strategy, simply because the larger payouts counteract my natural disadvantage?

What do you think?

Most casinos limit promo coupons to one a day,so its tough to use them to any big advantage.

There's a whole nerdy article on how to maximize the expected value of coupons here:

... but yeah, they'll probably be too limited to turn them into moneymakers.

So theoretically if you had an infinite number of coupons you could play with an advantage by using only BS. Correct?

As opposed to playing infinitely with only BS, without coupons, and being at a disadvantage.

It would depend on the coupon, but yes.

We have them coupons where I work, they work great except its usually only a $5 one. You can use as many as you got for the day.
