Question Minimum Bankroll

Quote:
Do not go to play without some nice bankroll.
I think everybody is able to save at least $ 2000 in a year.
While you are saving learn perfect basic strategy and simple counting system Hi-LO

if your bankroll is $2000
session bankroll should be about $300
As long as you have an edge play. when you lose big time or don't have an edge just leave.
(from last topic)

Intresting you say this.

I'm reading Kevin Blackwoods book at the moment and his examples are always out of a $10,000 bankroll. He strongly suggests a max bet of 1% of your bankroll-on-hand. He also suggests as much as a 1-20 spread agains shoes...

I HAVE managed to squirle away $1000+ and I hope to make it $2000 by the end of september. That leaves me with a "max bet" of $10-20 though. The LOWEST minimum i've found in AC. is $10. Just for a 1-10 spread i need to take about $500 to the table (and pray).

I haven't actually put more than $200 in to play yet thanks to the g/f... I plan to go on alone though this september and hit the east-coast strip hard for 10-20 hours and see what happens.

Does any one have suggestions for mangaging a small bankroll like this? Not everyone can have 10,grand to start counting with...
